"Strawberries and raspberries pop on an otherwise umami, savory nose of hot tar, crushed rocks, pepper, and mixed wild herbs. The fruit concentrates into strawberry jam and raspberry compote on the palate, while orange zest and a subtle crack of black pepper add warmth and energy. On the finish, that warmth crescendos with a chili pepper heat."
Vico expresses all of its potential from a unique and ancient terroir on Mt Etna, being sourced. It comes from one of the very few parcels in the contrada Santo Spirito that were not covered by the lava flow of 1879.
Tenute Bosco’s Etna Bianco is pleasantly persistent, with an appropriate balance of acidity and minerality. The wine is a careful selection of historical indigenous varieties from the vineyards of two contradas - Piano dei Daini and Santo Spirito.
