WINE REVIEW: Two Grand Cru Sparkling Wines from Spain

Andrew Chalk of The Chalk Report highlighted two wines from Juvé & Camps, the worldwide leader of Gran Reserva Cava, in his latest post.

The Reserva de la Familia 2017 , which has zero dosage added, is described as “highly aromatic with deep, intense and elegant notes. Ripe white fruit flavors are followed by hints of fennel, toast and citrus.”

Sips and Tips: Recently reviewed wines

The Winston-Salem Journal recently recommended two Juvé & Camps cavas, the Reserva de la Familia Gran Reserva 2017 and Pinot Noir Brut Rosé NV.

The Reserva de la Familia Gran Reserva is rich with “baked apple, cirtrus and toast flavors. Elegant bubbles, a little bit creamy with a nice finish.”

This Independence Day, set off some fireworks with these sparkling wines

Connecticut Magazine and its online edition included Juvé & Camps Brut Rosé Pinot Noir NV in an article about the best sparkling wines to enjoy this July 4th weekend and throughout summer.

The writer shares background on Juvé & Camps’ winemaking history, which dates back hundreds of years, and notes that “their first bottle of sparkling wine was produced in 1921, marking the beginning of the family’s commitment to creating the finest premium cava.”

As far as the Brut Rosé Pinot Noir is concerned, the writer says it is “a stunning orange-red akin to strawberry or geranium.” Produced in the same manner as Champagne, it “has a nose brimming with red berries and a hint of hibiscus. Forbes contributor Katie Kelly Bell included Mosnel Parose Franciacorta 2015, Juvé & Camps Gran Juvé Gran Reserva 2015 and Champagne Bollinger Rosé NV in a round up of the best champagnes and sparkling wines to ring in the New Year with.

Esquire’s Beverage Director of the Year Amy Racine contributed a piece to the publication that features the best Champagne and sparkling wines available to enjoy now, including Juvé & Camps. She suggests Reserva de la Familia 2017 as it is the most widely available cava from the family-owned estate in the U.S.
