Château de La Chaize Côte de Brouilly Lieu-dit “Chavannes” is a single-parcel cuvée from vines on the western slope of Mont Brouilly. The terroir features porous, sandy soil with weathered granite at 60-80 cm depth, encouraging deep root growth. The wine has a primary ruby hue of beautiful intensity. Jeb Dunnuck - October 1, 2026 "With its intense ruby color, the 2024 Côte de Brouilly Lieu-dit Chavannes is very welcoming on the nose, suggesting notes of flowers and small tart red fruits like raspberry, all clean, pleasing, and already highly perfumed. Coming from a single parcel on the western slope of Mont Brouilly, it drapes itself on the palate in a fine, satiny texture, deliciously silky, with the tender tannic grain so characteristic of the cru, taking on all its amplitude and flesh at the finish."
