Bennett Valley

Vineyard

Cardiac Hill runs on a very steep hillside at an elevation ranging from 500 to 900 feet hence the peculiar but appropriate name. It is situated in the southeast corner of the Bennett Valley, where three mountain peaks at the northern end of the Petaluma Wind Gap create a unique Sonoma County micro-climate. The Valley’s benchland soils formed from the volcanic ash of Taylor Mountain, Sonoma Mountain and Bennett Ridge, combined with the unusually cool climate, create one of Sonoma County’s most expressive Syrah growing regions.

Reviews

"Soft and open-knit, with plenty of early appeal"

Vinous Media - "Wilde Farm's 2015 Syrah Jemrose Vineyard Cardiac Hill is a very pretty wine. The addition of co-fermented Viognier and the whole clusters give the wine its distinctive savory, layered personality. Soft and open-knit, with plenty of early appeal, the 2015 is an impeccably balanced wine to drink now and over the next few years. Bright, red-toned fruit and floral overtones reappear on the finish."

Alder Springs Vineyard Chardonnay

Mendocino

High above sea level, 12 miles east of the Pacific Ocean and 150 miles north of San Francisco, Alder Springs offers cool climate growing conditions and fractured sand stone soils that are perfect for nurturing truly world class vineyards. While the average California grower expects yields of 20 pounds of fruit per vine, Alder Spring produce just 2 ½. Just enough for a single, spectacular bottle! The mouth-feel is light and billowy with a streak of concentrated apple laced fruit; honeyed fig and mineral laden length that reveals a concentration & intensity that bode well for the future.

Fox Hill Vineyard Dolcetto Rosé

Mendocino

Wilde Farm rosé is a fresh and energetic wine made from carbonic free run juice of Dolcetto from Fox Hill Vineyard. Rather than a saignée method, this is a very intentional rosé.
