Fleurie 2024

Trade Tools

Château de La Chaize Fleurie is crafted from a selection of parcels in the heart of the Fleurie appellation, showcasing the elegance and floral complexity of its granitic terroir. Each plot is vinified separately, with fermentation in stainless steel and semi-carbonic maceration, including 10% whole cluster fermentation. This rich, juicy wine is packed with black fruits and ripe tannins, offering great aging potential. Its density and acidity make it a wine to cellar, with exceptional depth and long-term aging ability.

Jeb Dunnuck - October 1, 2026 "With its beautiful juvenile purple color, the 2024 Fleurie opens with its floral attributes of peony and iris. Once again, the wine shows a splendid fidelity of perfume and a notable aromatic clarity that deserves to be underlined. On the palate, it exemplifies the texture of Fleurie in its typicity and authenticity, with that airy, refined, digestible approach on the tannins. A very good, well-built wine, it represents the appellation well and shows that this estate is as convincing on Fleurie as on its home ground of Brouilly. The finish is clean and floral, in keeping with the rest."
