Château de La Chaize
Brouilly Lieu-dit "La Chaize" Monopole 2024
Château de La Chaize Brouilly Lieu-dit “La Chaize” Monopole is a Beaujolais treasure, with wines made exclusively from estate vineyards, all certified organic starting with the 2022 vintage. The estate’s porphyroid granite soil lends elegance and length to the wines. The 100% Gamay Noir undergoes parcel-by-parcel vinification, 15-day maceration, and 18 months of aging in large wooden casks. Sulfiting occurs after malolactic fermentation and at bottling. The estate also boasts a historic garden designed by André Le Nôtre, landscape architect to King Louis XIV.

Jeb Dunnuck - "The 2024 Brouilly La Chaize Monopole shows a magnificent, intense violet tinge and comes from the steep hillside of porphyroid granite directly behind the château. It is built on seriousness, concentration, and a high ripeness of the grape, and the nose comes forward with notes of violet and iris. The texture is beautiful, full-bodied, long and deep, corseted by the tannins, with amplitude and considerable flesh, showing a real pursuit of depth and the care given to the wine. It has a magnificent spicy finish and appreciable length."
