Hubert Brochard Sancerre Les Trois Coteaux 2023

Sancerre

May 21, 2024 - This Sauvignon comes from our vineyards surrounding the winery based in chavignol in the center of the Appellation. It is a caillotes soil (small chalky stones). Then the pressing is only in pneumatic presses. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature in order to keep all the fine aromas of Sauvignon. This caillotes terroir will give very balanced, fine and precise Sancerre. The bottling will be around may the year after the harvest. A perfect expression of the caillotes soil of Sancerre.

Wine Spectator -August 17, 2024 "Shows balance between its fruit and energy, with good stuffing to the notes of gooseberry, smoke and sweet meadow blossoms. Everything is nicely reined in by zippy acidity and smoky,…

Hubert Brochard Sancerre Chateau Fontaine-Audon 2023

Sancerre

This flinty terroir will give very mineral, fine and precise Sancerre. The bottling will be around july the year after the harvest. A perfect expression of the flinty soil of Sancerre.

Wine Spectator -August 17, 2024 "Mineral-driven and precise, with snap pea, celery root and tarragon notes bringing a herbaceous dimension to flavors of lemon, lime and crunchy nectarine. A slight chalkiness adds grip to the…

Domaine Hubert Brochard Sancerre Blanc 2023

Sancerre

May 06, 2024 - Domaine Hubert Brochard Sancerre Blanc is a classic expression of Sauvignon Blanc sourced from vineyards across seven villages and the appellation’s three hallmark terroirs: Terres Blanches, Silex, and Caillottes. Harvested at full ripeness, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel to preserve aromatic purity. Aged on fine lees in a mix of vessels, the wine shows floral and fruity notes, a lively, full-bodied palate, and exotic tones. HVE-certified and ideal with goat cheese, this is Sancerre in its most authentic and expressive form.

Wine Spectator -November 30, 2024 "A piercing version, with a flinty profile to the firm stone fruit, flecked with oregano and a hint of honeysuckle. Angular and focused, showing density on the bone-dry, smoky finish."

Wine Enthusiast -September 01, 2025 "Dried lemon peel, green apple and nectarine aromas open on the nose dusted with chamomile and orange blossom. The palate is juicy with a thin layer of tartness that offers…

William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos – Domaine 2022

Chablis Grand Cru

May 02, 2024 - Domaine William Fèvre Les Clos is a complex Grand Cru, known for its tremendous aging potential. As the largest and most prestigious Grand Cru in Chablis, Les Clos is also where Fèvre claims the title of the most influential landowner. The domaine oversees eight plots spanning 4.11 hectares, more than any other estate, with some of the vines planted by William's father as far back as 1947 and 1948. These parcels are situated on deep clay soils resting over limestone in a cooler microclimate at the top of the slope, contributing to the wine's remarkable complexity.

Wine Advocate -November 30, 2024 “The 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is a serious, structured wine, unwinding in the glass with aromas of ripe, waxy citrus rind, crisp orchard fruit and white flowers, framed…

Wine Enthusiast -October 01, 2025 "Fresh pear, acacia, and almonds burst through a dense core of stone, delivering a powerful and vibrant expression rich in salinity and a hint of umami. The textured palate is…

Burghound -October 10, 2024 "This is aromatically quite similar to the Côte Bouguerots but with more floral influence. The rich, big-bodied and tautly muscular flavors are also seemingly chiseled from Kimmeridgian, all wrapped in…

William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses – Domaine 2022

Chablis Grand Cru

May 02, 2024 - Les Preuses sits on the heights of the Grands Crus slope, its name derived from "perreuse," the old word for stone, a reference to the Roman road that once ran at its foot. Dense, compact clay on a limestone slab gives this 11.44-hectare Grand Cru exceptional aging potential and a character that is long and elegant rather than massive. Domaine William Fèvre owns 2.55 hectares here, producing a wine of floral freshness, intense minerality, and a round, refined palate.

Wine Advocate -November 30, 2024 “The 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses wafts from the glass with aromas of orange zest, oyster liquor, brine and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, it's more…

Wine Enthusiast -October 01, 2025 "A generous, energetic bouquet captures the freshness of the first day of summer, balancing ripe fruit and elegant florals atop pronounced limestone minerality. The textured palate is lifted by ample…

Burghound -October 10, 2024 "Here too there is an ever-so-mildly toasty nose which features perfumed notes of smoked grilled shellfish, pear and algae. The dense and equally serious larger-scaled flavors don’t have quite the…

William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Valmur – Domaine 2022

Chablis Grand Cru

May 02, 2024 - Valmur sits between Vaudésir and Les Clos in the heart of the Grands Crus slope, its name derived from the small valley that gives it its distinctive shape. Soils shift from deep clay-limestone at the base to lean, mineral earth at the summit, where a marly vein outcrops. Domaine William Fèvre owns just 1.15 hectares here, 9% of the appellation, making it one of the rarest wines in the range: charming, fruity, and mineral, with a powerful, elegant, and round palate.

Wine Advocate -November 30, 2024 “Aromas of white flowers, pear, apples, wet stone and oyster shell introduce the 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered wine that's pure and taut,…

Burghound -October 10, 2024 "Soft wood lurks in the background on the ripe aromas of various white orchard fruit scents that are nuanced by hints of tidal pool, algae and oyster shell. The denser,…

William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros “Côte Bouguerots” – Domaine 2022

Chablis Grand Cru

May 02, 2024 - Domaine William Fèvre Bougros is a powerful Grand Cru from the steepest slope in Chablis, with a gradient nearing 45 degrees. The domaine tends to 49% of the cru, including 2.11 hectares in the lieu-dit Côtes Bouguerots. The vineyard, planted mostly in the 1950s and '60s, sits on shallow soils that naturally restrict yields, creating a more complex wine. The wine undergoes an extended 14- to 15-month elevage, with about half of it spending time on the lees in old French oak barrels (averaging 6 years old), adding structure and depth to this exceptional wine.

Wine Enthusiast -October 01, 2025 "A kiss of floral perfume overlays fresh, pure orchard fruit and firm stone, creating an elegant and sultry nose. The palate is precise and full bodied, with an intense wash…

Burghound -October 10, 2024 "This is the coolest and most restrained of this group of 2022s with its elegant aromas of prominent mineral reduction, lemon-lime, spice and oyster shell. There is almost painful intensity…

William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Domaine 2022

Chablis Grand Cru

May 02, 2024 - Bougros is the westernmost of the seven Chablis Grands Crus, known for its rich, ample, and powerful character. Domaine William Fèvre's Côte Bouguerots parcel occupies the steepest section of the vineyard, where the cooling influence of the Serein River produces a wine of greater structure and minerality than the broader cru. Nearly half of the entire Bougros appellation belongs to the domaine, making this one of its most important and defining holdings.

Wine Advocate -October 01, 2025 “Always one of the richer, rounder wines in the range, the 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros offers up notes of honeyed peaches, pear and wet stones, followed by a medium…

Wine Enthusiast -October 01, 2025 "Floral freshness and vibrant energy define this wine, where bright orchard and citrus fruits mingle with wildflowers and a firm limestone minerality. The finish slowly reveals delicate traces of salt.…

Burghound -October 10, 2024 "Once again there is plenty of mineral reduction character suffusing the aromas of ripe pear, soft wood and tidal pool. The rich, full-bodied and overtly powerful broad-shouldered flavors are robust…

William Fèvre Chablis Domaine 2022

Chablis

May 02, 2024 - Domaine William Fèvre is the benchmark producer in Chablis, the largest Grand Cru owner in the appellation and a defining voice in the region's identity since 1959. Chablis Domaine is the village-level expression of that legacy: 46.8 hectares of Chardonnay on Kimmeridgian marl and limestone, planted in the extension of the Premier Crus and farmed with the same rigor as the domaine's finest holdings.

Wine Spectator -May 30, 2024 "Bursting with peach, apple, lemon and flint aromas and flavors, this expressive and supple white is harmonious and ready to enjoy yet should develop well over the next five to…

William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru Montmains – Domaine 2022

Chablis 1er Cru

May 02, 2024 - William Fèvre Premier Cru Montmains is a benchmark Chablis grown on the region’s famously stony left bank. Montmains is both a specific climat and an umbrella name that includes Forêts and Butteaux. Fèvre owns 3.69 hectares across all three, blending minerality, fruit, and richness. South-east facing and frost-prone, the site yields structured, concentrated wines with freshness and length. Vinified gently and aged partially in oak, Montmains is precise and lifted, with pronounced mineral notes and strong aging potential.

Wine Enthusiast -October 01, 2025 "Citrus oil, grapefruit pith, Korean pear, chamomile, and light lemongrass rise delicately from the glass, offering a fresh, vibrant aromatic profile. The palate follows with layered texture and mineral persistence,…

William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre – Domaine 2022

Chablis 1er Cru

May 02, 2024 - William Fèvre Chablis Premier Cru Montée de Tonnerre is among the most esteemed Premiers Crus, thanks to its proximity and geological kinship to the Grands Crus just west. Fèvre farms three lieux-dits—Pied d’Aloup, Montée de Tonnerre, and Chapelot—high on the slope, with exposures from southwest to southeast. Each site brings something distinct: Pied d’Aloup adds salinity and structure, Montée de Tonnerre lends weight, and old-vine Chapelot (planted in 1936) contributes finesse. The result is full, rich, and mineral, with floral lift and impressive aging potential.

Wine Advocate -October 01, 2025 “The 2022 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre reveals aromas of orchard fruit, waxy citrus rind, white flowers and wet stones, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered…

Burghound -October 10, 2025 "An elegant, pure and wonderfully airy nose more freely reflects its aromas of white flowers, prominent mineral reduction and plenty of seashore elements. There is at once more volume but,…
